  • How can I make a remittance using RemitSend?

    You can make a safe, secure, and fast remittance with RemitSend through a 4 step process given below:
    Step 1: choose an active recipient
    Step 2: enter the amount to be transferred. You can enter the amount either in SGD or in the destination currency
    Step 3: add additional details relating to remittance for your records
    Step 4: review and submit the transaction

  • Where can I send the money?

    At present: Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

  • Are there any limits defined for each transaction or there are daily, weekly or monthly limits?
    The limits are defined at the transaction level and are not daily, weekly or monthly limits. Please note that these limits vary for each country and are as below:

  • If there are transaction limits, can I make multiple remittances?

  • How long does a remittance transaction take to get completed?
    You can expect the funds to reach the recipient account within the following time frames:

    T+2 days, for transactions submitted after the cut off time 11am SGT

    Thailand <=THB 500,000 T+1 day, subject to transaction submitted before cut off time 3pm SGT
    Vietnam <= VND 300,000,000 0-1 hour

    Please note:
    i.‘T’ here refers to a working business day.
    ii.Working business days and Normal Banking Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm SGT, except Public Holidays of source country and destination country.
    iii.Transactions submitted outside of normal banking hours or cut off times are processed on the next working business day.
  • How do I know that money has been received by the recipient?

    A transaction is marked as 'Success' on successful credit of the remitted amount in the recipient’s bank. Please refer to the ‘Remittance History’ section to check the status of the transaction.

  • How can I track my transaction?

    We believe in transparency and always keep your transaction status updated.
    a. You can review, filter by date, and download a file of all of your remittance transactions from your ‘Remittance History’ page.
    b. You can also generate a statement for each transaction which can be used as confirmation of your transfer with details such as the transfer number and banking partner reference.

  • Why does my transaction status show as 'Success’ when the money has not reached my recipient yet?

    The remittance transaction is shown as ‘Success’ when we receive an electronic confirmation that the funds have been transferred to the recipient bank. If the recipient has still yet not received the funds into their account then:
    a. The receiving bank is still processing the money or
    b. Your recipient might not have recognized the transfer. Please ask your recipient to check the account for the transaction using ‘sender name’ and ‘reference number’ as shown in your transaction history.

  • Can I make payment for multiple invoices?

    Yes, you can make payment for multiple invoices for one recipient at the same time. Please ensure to mention all the invoice numbers in the invoice number section while making a remittance. To add the invoice copies, please attach a single scan copy for all the invoices together.

  • Why did my transaction fail?

    The transactions may fail if there are errors in the recipient account number, mismatch with the bank name, or other information shared.

  • How can I cancel the transaction?

    You may cancel any pending transaction by rejecting the transaction before the transaction is initiated by RemitSend. Once RemitSend sends out the money, post Remittance Checker’s approval, we may not be able to get the refund.

  • Is a refund possible for the remittance transaction made through RemitSend?

    Once the money has been debited from your wallet, after the remittance checker’s approval, we may not be able to get the refund for the same. The only circumstances under which the refund may be available are:
    a. If the recipient’s details entered by you had errors then the recipient bank may reject it and send the money back to us. We will refund you the money, as soon as we receive the funds.
    b. If you have made a mistake in the amount, or you do not want the transaction anymore, your recipient will need to contact their bank to reject the payment. The money will be sent back to RemitSend, and we will refund it back to you.
    c. Once a transaction is complete and marked as successful, it cannot be canceled. You have to directly contact the recipient and arrange for a refund. Please reach out to us at support@remitsend.com or +6562297856, for any assistance needed.

  • How long does a refund take?

    The refund is possible only in limited scenarios and time may vary depending on the status of the transaction. We stay committed to refund your money at the earliest time possible if we receive the same back in our account.   • Will I be charged for the reversed transaction?

    No, unlike banks, we do not charge any fee for canceling/rejecting and refunding (initiated by our banking partners) a remittance transaction. we will always refund the full amount you paid us, regardless of the type of transaction you made.

  • How long is the exchange rate valid?

    The exchange rate is usually valid for 1 hour from the time it is displayed when making a transaction. The expiry time for the exchange rate is also shown at transaction times. We also ensure confirmation from you on the rates, when the approver appointed by you approves the transaction.

  • Can I approve the transaction after the exchange rate has expired?

    Yes, you will be shown the latest exchange rate while approving the transaction. You may choose to approve or reject the transaction based on the new exchange rate.
